| Q01 |
How
big can I make my digital photos? |
| A01 |
The
size to which any digital photo can be enlarged depends
completely on the resolution, in pixels, of the original
digital file. The higher the resolution, the larger the
image can be printed and maintain the original quality.
By processing your digital file through our specialized
software, and maintaining certain parameters known to
yield original quality results, we can determine the
largest size possible with your particular file. No
charge for this service. |

If
your digital file is too large to attach to an email
message, we offer an upload page for sending your files.
Access to
this page is provided after completing and sending the
quote request form. Uploading is through FTP transfer,
and requires average computer knowledge. |

| Q04 |
What
is the best type of photo paper for my print? |
| A04 |
The
surface finish of the photographic papers selected for
your photo is really a matter of personal preference.
Actually, if your photo is to be framed under glass, the
paper finish is not as important. Generally though, we
do not recommend the flat matte finish for photographs,
if you are concerned about getting the sharpest detail
possible. |

| Q05 |
Are
the satin canvas prints ready to be framed? |
| A05 |
The
satin canvas prints are shipped print only. For the
satin canvas prints we leave 2" -3" of extra
material around the image for mounting purposes. These
prints are designed to be mounted on artists stretcher
bars for the best presentation. After stretching the
canvas, you would then mount in your frame. Prints are
pre-sealed for protection. |

| Q06 |
What
is the best image file type to send for the best
quality? |
| A06 |
Digital
photos saved in any image file format will print just
fine, but photos saved in either raw, converted to tiff,
or in tiff format, will contain much more image data,
and therefore produce a higher quality print. Each time
a jpeg file is re-saved it loses image data. Although it
requires a much larger storage card, we always recommend
capturing images on the highest quality resolution, and
in raw or tiff file formats. |

devise, we return them with your enlarged prints. When

| Q09 |
I
have some custom photo work I want done with my picture,
how much will it cost? |
| A09 |
To
provide an estimate for custom photo work, we generally
need to see what work needs to be done and determine the
amount of time required for your project. The more
specifics you have about the custom work you have in
mind, the better we will be able to help you with an
estimate for your project. |

| Q10 |
How
long will my print last before fading? |
| A10 |
All
we produce here are premium quality prints. Any paper
finish you choose is of archival quality which means,
the print will be non-fading, and independently rated at
75-100 years of print stability under normal viewing
conditions. These are considered Giclee' class prints. |
