The only existing photo of this mother was a torn and taped
wallet size photo. We digitally repaired the damage, enhanced
& processed the image to 8x10 and printed B&W as per
customer request.

The photograph below is from the turn of the Century. In very
rough condition, the gradation and tonal qualities of the image
were faint and without much contrast value. After repairing the
damage as possible, and enhancing, the group was isolated out
for placement on a new background. The customer then chose to
crop in the oval and overlay a sepia tone.

These unique, turn of the Century photographs originally
enhanced with charcoal rendering, were lost, stored away in a
garage until the customer rediscovered them decades later. After
repairing and enhancing the images, we isolated the characters
to composite on a single print, applying generic background and
matte effects.

The project below was especially challenging. The original
photograph was in 3 pieces, with sections of the image missing.
After merging the pieces, digitally repairing and enhancing the
image, we isolated the image for placement on a generic
background
and matte.

Utilizing
a generic background and matte will focus viewer attention on
the characters of the restored photograph. This print is now
proudly displayed as a 16x20 archival print, to memorialize the
ancestors our customer honor so greatly. |
